Endo Sisters Understand
I think one of the hardest things about having endometriosis is the true lack of understanding from most people in my life. It is difficult to fathom the pain involved if you’ve never experienced it.
Additionally, when I changed my diet – cutting out gluten and dairy (the major food groups in the States, Lol) I found this decision to be rather isolating as well. There are still times that I cringe when I hear the frustration in other’s voices – “Right. You can’t eat that.” It’s difficult sometimes to convey to people just how these foods affect me if I eat them.
What I’ve found on my journey to healing endometriosis is the priceless value of support from other women with endometriosis. My Endo Sisters understand what I go through and I feel these women are the most compassionate and loving women that I’ve ever met.
It is always a bonus when I meet a fellow Endo Sister who is empowered and has made positive changes in her life to improve her health and well being. I find this energy to be infectious. It is these women that continue to propel me forward down a positive, nourishing path.
So on this, the last day of Endometriosis Awareness Month, please know that I am radiating love towards you, dear Endo Sister. Please know that you are never alone. You will never not belong. You are part of a loving, supportive community that understands.
By the way, I’ve found Twitter to be a great source of connection with other endo sisters. An easy way to find some is by searching the hashtag #endosister 🙂
Support for Healing from Endometriosis
As March winds down so too does my training at IIN. I have learned so much knowledge that I am super excited to share with you. My intention with this education is to move forward in the world and help other women with endometriosis find peace with endo 🙂
To kick off this new journey, I have put together a new group coaching program called, “Empowered to Heal Endo!”
This support based group will meet every other Tuesday evening from 5:30pm-6:45pm MDT or Colorado Time. (time zone convertor) We will meet over the phone on a shared conference line for twelve total sessions.
My intention with this group program is to share the many lessons that I’ve learned on my own journey to healing endometriosis which has brought me to a life of limited pain, increased energy and a deep love for myself; While allowing you further support from other women with endometriosis, on the same journey to healing.
The program starts Tuesday April 27, 2014 at 5:30pm-6:45 MDT. If you sign up for the program by Tuesday April 6, 2014 then your first month is FREE!
If you are interested in learning more or want to reserve your spot then click here.
On the Positive Side?
As we finish out this awareness month I ask that you continue to talk about your endometriosis to others. Continue to spread awareness whenever you can and please reach out for support from other women who have endometriosis.
I’m not sure where I would be (or if I’d still be here breathing) if it wasn’t for the support from my Endo Sisters. Having someone understand what you are going through really is priceless.
I hope that we can connect further in the upcoming group program. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Big yellow hugs to you,
Aubree.
