We experienced a seasonal shift this week. In the northern hemisphere we welcomed in winter, and hit the darkest hour.
This seasonal shift is a natural time to cleanse. Detox. Release the old and welcome in the new.
I detoxed my home with a major de-cluttering initiative. It was intense. Freeing.
Then… I got sick. Literally.
I don’t remember the last time I had a head cold like this.
Instead of turning to traditional cold medicine like I would have done in the past, I reached for something that would give my body nutrients it needed to get better: greens.
Concentrated Super Greens
Not just any greens: Concentrated Super Greens from a supplement called Vitamineral Green™.
When I saw the bottle at the health food store, I was drawn in, as if my body intuitively knew that I needed it. It had a memory of it.
When I first started on my healing journey I took Vitamineral Green™ to make sure I was getting in enough powerful greens each day.
Like many of the supplements I used to take, this faded away with time. I’m not really sure why.
Especially since once I had my first glass of Vitamineral Green™ again my body welcomed it. Like a burst of liquid energy. I felt better immediately.
It was clearing. Quite literally, Lol. I won’t go into too many details about that 🙂
What’s Inside Vitamineral Green™?
I first learned about Vitamineral Green™ on a trip to Whole Foods years ago. There was a representative there who was handing out free samples and he was so passionate about it.
Primarily because the ingredients are super clean, beyond organic. They’re TruGanic™, which is
The ingredient list includes a plethora of healing greens. As I re-visited the label this time around I was reminded of this as I noticed so many amazing ingredients.
I found myself smiling as I recognized the benefits of many of the ingredients inside Vitamineral Green™. My knowledge has definitely grown since I first started on this healing journey 🙂
Here’s highlights of some of what’s inside and the benefits of them.
Nettle Leaf
Ironically, the benefits of nettle for endometriosis, was my blog topic a year ago. Here’s a snippet…
Nettle contains biologically active compounds that reduce inflammation. These compounds interfere with your body’s production of inflammatory prostaglandins, which play a key role in endometriosis pain.
Dandelion Leaf
Dandelion leaf supports both your liver and kidneys, which both play an important role in removing toxins from your body.
Ginger Root
Ginger can help with inflammation, nausea and many stomach discomforts.
Parsley Leaf
Parsely is rich in many vitamins that support your immune system, kidneys and liver, to help remove out toxins from your body. It is also an excellent antioxidant.
Wheat Grass
Wheat grass is said to be nature’s medicine. The Hippocrates Institute uses it as their primary source of healing. This is because,
Chickweed
Chickweed truly deserves a post all to itself. It has so many healing benefits for endometriosis, including the fact that it can help dissolve ovarian cysts.
Holy Basil/Tulsi
Holy Basil/Tulsi is an ancient herb that supports your adrenals and thyroid. It can help counter anxiety and stress.
Moringa
Moringa contains the full range of B vitamins, which are super important if you have endometriosis. It contains many other vitamins and minerals and can help reduce inflammation and balance blood sugar.
Kelp
Kelp is a seaweed and is a natural antioxidant and is a natural food source of iodine, which is an essential component in thyroid hormone production.
Bladderwrack
Bladderwrack is a type of Kelp that also stimulates thyroid function and boosts metabolism.
I know that iodine is not recommended for those of us with Hashimoto’s, but I haven’t noticed a negative effective. Given all the other ingredients in Vitamineral Green™ I would think the percentage of iodine would not be a factor.
Spirulina & Chlorella
Spirulina and Chlorella are rich in chlorophyll, which is like a shot of goodness to your cells. They both help to cleanse your liver and bowel and provide your body an environment for healing.
Digestive Health
Vitamineral Green™ contains both probiotics and enzymes that support your digestive tract, which is the gateway to healing.
On the Positive Side?
I found it interesting that I happened to introduce Vitamineral Green™ during this shift in season, when it is a natural time to cleanse.
I am so happy that it made its way back into my life. I believe that it cut the amount of time I was sick with that cold.
This other sickness was a distraction from the fact that I am close to the start of my period, which I’ve had little signs of. This tells me that the Vitamineral Green™ is helping with that too. I suppose the real test comes when flow arrives 🙂
I remember back to that passionate sales rep at Whole Foods and I smile, because that’s totally me now. I believe that Vitamineral Green™ is an amazing product.
My hubby agrees. We’ve both been drinking it everyday and have both noticed positive differences in how we feel.
Because of this, I’ve signed up to be an affiliate with them, so if you’re interested in trying it out, I would love your support of my blogging activities by ordering VitaMineral Green™ here.
Please know that I would never suggest something that I haven’t tried myself, have benefited from and am truly passionate about.
I hope to pass along this healing green power to you 🙂
As with anything that supports your body’s detoxification channels, please start off with a low dose, as it will likely get some stuff moving out.
But like I said, now’s the perfect time for that.
Several people have contacted me about the label on Vitamineral Green in regards to Proposition 65 in California. The law does not differentiate between the toxic, isolated forms of lead and the nontoxic naturally occurring form of lead botanically bound in all plants. See Health Force’s full response here.
I’ve read that wheat is to be avoided if you have endometriosis. Is the wheat grass ingredient in this product something to be concerned about?
Hi Anita – Wheat grass is fine. The problematic ingredient in wheat is gluten, which is only in the grain, not the grass.
The product link takes you to a Vitamineral Green product that is 100% acerola cherry not the multi ingredient in the description.
Hi Ashleigh. Not sure which link you’re referring to?
Reading today on other sites that Spirulina and Chlorella are no longer recommended due to toxicity…?
Also seeing Kelp is too high in iodine. Not finding info on Bladderwrack re: if it is also high in aforementioned toxicity, however.
So much conflicting information, hard to figure out what to do 🙁
