Both breast cancer and endometriosis are fueled by excess estrogen, so the risk is higher, and so is the need for breast cancer prevention.
Episode 29 of the Peace with Endo Podcast features a chat I had with Kristina Sampson from Functional Cancer Nutrition. Kris is a breast cancer survivor and author of the book, Leave Cancer in the Dust: 50 Tips to Prevent Breast Cancer and Supercharge Your Health.
We chatted a bit about:
- How mammograms aren’t the best prevention tool, and what’s recommended instead;
- How diet plays a role in breast cancer prevention;
- Tips for cleaning out the toxins from your beauty products and home environment;
- And how stress is a trigger for illness, but shouldn’t be viewed as an enemy. The power’s in your response to it.
